On Saturday 19th November Giulia Mengozzi (ALMARE) intervews La Niña Jacarandà, Chilean-Venezuelan visual artist, producer and DJ, passing by Turin for Sound Quests, a two days festoval with exhibitions, listening sessions, performances and concerts, all of them focussing on investigations over oral transmission.

ALMARE meets LA NINA JACARANDÁ
Sabato 19 novembre | 13:00 – 14:00 CEST

La Niña Jacarandá aka Isamit Morales proposes wide-breathing and non-linear sounds, running through an spectrum that blurs the lines between ambient, reggaeton and deconstructed club, always considering its intersections within political dimensions. She is also the founder of feminist (non-binary) DJ school Sin Sync, which for the last three years has been consolidating a learning space and a community for artists and djs from Sala VOL in Barcelona

ALMARE is a artists-curators collective founded in 2017 by Amos Cappuccio, Giulia Mengozzi, Luca Morino and Gabbi Cattani focused on contemporary practices using sound as an expressive medium.
