It’s that time of the month again… RBL Barcelona is taking over the airwaves this weekend!
On Saturday 26th March from 6-7pm join La Sardina for his show QUIEBRA COCO.
Then, on Sunday 27th March, taking up their regular last-Sunday-of-the-month slot, our Barcelona hub will be broadcasting from 10am to 9pm. For anyone in the area, they’ll be live at Espai Salvadiscos from 1pm until 9pm. It’s €4 for the afternoon or join for €10 and dance for free all year! Payment is taken on the door. Arrive early to guarantee entry… we’ve had a queue every time.

QUIEBRA COCO Let La Sardina take you on a musical journey through the history of Latin America. An unexpected mix of traditional and modern, with Cumbia, Dub, Psychedelia and more from current producers and bands who are remixing and reinterpreting root sounds.
RADIO SAMAMBAIA Victor Arrebola Buscariolo’s monthly show highlights the striking and unique rhythms of his native Brazil. Following select genres and presenting songs featuring outstanding cultural instruments and curiosities, tune in for an education in the best of Brazilian music.
Taste The Roots Explore the musical and cultural influence of African music, and a medley of Caribbean, Afro-Latin and modern sounds and genres from around the world. Host Kissy Perea works to strengthen cultural and musical projects of Afro-descendant communities and is dedicated to making emerging artists visible.
Delivery Service Barcelona-based DJ collective Andrea Épicée and Pierre Antoine, ‘Delivery Service’, are known for their eclectic taste. They will bring you everything from proto-house to electronic and Italo disco. Expect a free-flowing ride through slow jams, club vibes and worldwide sounds.
Papa with Camote Taste everything from hot Afrolatin rhythms to spicy Brazilian harmonies, from fusion jazz to contemporary soul sounds. Born in Lima, Peru and now based in Barcelona, Mara Valenzuela comes to RBL to share her love of the many different musical tastes she gained from her Afro-descendant family, from bosa and salsa to funk and disco.
The Groove Quest Host NICOLE.AIFF is on a mission: to constantly discover new tunes. Join her on the odyssey of this never-ending beautiful trip called music. With a soft spot for rare grooves, her latin heritage and wide-ranged music taste, NICOLE.AIFF will definitely make you want to dance.
RBL Invites: La Otra Rumba In their vinyl session, trio La Otra Rumba – Patxekito, Re-Sister, and RedBananna – will rescue rhythms from Latin America and Africa like salsa, boogaloo, funk, cumbia, zouk and soukouss. They’re here to promote culture and community, but above all to generate good energy, enjoy the music and dance!
Fluid Dynamics An eclectic show for music lovers of all kinds, from hip hop to jazz, from soul music to house. This overwhelming journey among so many different genres is possible thanks to the wide musical tastes of the show’s host, Patch, who has been collecting and selecting fresh and older releases for 10 years – starting from Bristol, passing by RBL Berlin, and finally arriving in Barcelona.
Gat 2 Gat Run by Hanakito and Opoku, this is a show about their jumbled musical styles. They’ll show you the local scene in Barcelona and the music that they’re addicted to, with both records and DJ mixes.
Cosmic Room Join GYAN to taste the electronic scene in Barcelona and enjoy house, electro, breaks and afrobeats. Cosmic Room is an energy-filled space to enjoy club music in all its forms, to dance and smile. This month GYAN is joined by a special guest, Venezuelan DJ Vir-ginie. Blurring the borders between one track and the next, Vir-ginie will bring an eclectic mix including Balearic beats, funk and house.
