On Wednesday 9th February Sound of BOCTOK makes its return on RBL. Hosted by the homonymous independent label based in Donbass, Ukraine (BOCTOK, meaning “East” in Russian), the show is a a contemporary overview on the musical scene of the region and more in general of the Eastern area of the Country, representing a new generation of musicians and artists who actively resist – through music and collective initaitives – in an area and a context constantly threatened by armed conflict, due to the political tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
Starting February, Sound of BOCTOK returns on RBL every second wednesday night of the month and the first episode of the new season will see CONORLEE – designer, producer and DJ, based in Donetsk – presenting his various music productions, from his own releases and exclusives: from fierce Techno and acid Electro, to smooth beats and Soulful House.
