Simone Alliva is a journalist from Calabria, where he takes his first professional steps working for local newspapers. Today he lives in Rome and writes about political news and civil rights. For L’Espresso he authored several investigative reports, among which “Caccia all’Omo. Viaggio nel paese dell’omofobia”. In 2017 he was the first journalist to narrate the horrors of persecutions against homosexuals in Cecenia, for HuffPost Italia. He’s currently a collaborato of  L’Espresso and Esquire Italia.
