RBL.MEDIA presents Residents – an international collaborative project developed together with five cultural centers across Europe, willing to create an occasion for connection and exchange in these uncertain times.

In the last year the pandemic has made a wide range of activities unfeasible almost everywhere and for prolonged periods. These activities connect people to places, building communities every day. Following the Covid-19 outbreak, mosto of the cultural, social and collective activities had to stop everywhere and these spaces were suddenly empty.

Each cultural centre was invited to address their own community of regulars and aficionados with a call for voice messages in which the participants told what they loved about these places and why. A selection of these messages was then edited together with a field recording of the spaces, now empty due to the Covid-19 related restrictions.
